First lady Michelle Obama is joining “The Late Late Show” host James Corden for an upcoming edition of his popular “Carpool Karaoke” series, albeit in surprising fashion. A teaser was released featuring the duo rocking out to Beyonce’s “Single Ladies,” which you can watch below. The segment is scheduled to air in full on Wednesday.

Corden apparently has no idea that he’ll be riding with Obama, who surprises him when she gets in the car.

“Hey there! I hear you’re here for a 1:45 tour, and I had a little time on my hands, so you wanna go for a spin,” Obama asks a shocked Corden in the clip.

The first lady then asks if she can play some music because she “rarely” gets to listen to her own tunes in the car. Obama explains that she hasn’t enjoyed a good “rock out” session in the car since her daughter got her license and was happy for the opportunity to do so with the talk show host.

Previous guests of Carpool Karaoke include Stevie Wonder, Adele, Justin Bieber, Gwen Stefani, Jason Derulo, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson, Demi Lovato and other A-listers in the music industry.
