President and chairman of the conservative advocacy group Citizens United, David Bossie, told The Daily Caller News Foundation at the Republican National Convention, “Hillary Clinton is really pathetic, she’s a hypocrite of the first order.”
Bossie’s organization is most well-known for winning the Supreme Court case against the Federal Election Commission over registered organizations spending unlimited amounts of money on elections. The conservative leader believes, “She [Clinton] is somebody who, you know, just on Saturday, stated, that in her first 30 days [as president], she would move for a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United, top priority.”

Bossie told TheDCNF Wednesday that Clinton, “in her mind, fighting ISIS, getting the racial tensions in America [resolved], and saving cops’ lives, getting the Middle East – which she created the problem – under control, getting our economy, our education, our healthcare system [functioning], isn’t her priority. What her priority is, is creating a 28th amendment to overturn the First Amendment.”
The Citizens United president believes Clinton’s plan to undo the Citizens United ruling is “absurd.” Bossie reiterated that he finds the former secretary of state’s stance on the issue is “hypocritical, because she’s raising hundreds of millions of dollars with David Brock and her super PACs.”
