Miranda Lambert Talks About ‘Heartache And Healing’ After Her Divorce

Miranda Lambert opened up about the last year of “heartache and healing” following her divorce.

On Tuesday, the 32-year-old country singer posted a picture on her Instagram account of her single “Vice” at number one. The song is the first that Lambert has released since her divorce from country singer Blake Shelton, last summer. In the caption next to the photo the singer talked about the last year, “learning to accept her flaws,” and that “music is medicine.” (RELATED: Miranda Lambert: New Music Coming Out Soon)

“The last year of my life has been one of heartache and healing,” Lambert wrote. “Of learning to be honest. Accepting the flaws and celebrating the smiles.”

“All of them,” she continued. “I got to know my guitars, became friends with a pencil and paper. Used melodies to lead me places I had never been.”
