On Friday, Secretary of State John Kerry told a crowd in Vienna that air conditioners are as big a threat as ISIS. This has gotten the tree-hugger crowd so riled up that they started a petition to remove all air conditioning from the State Department.
Not everyone agrees with Kerry that air conditioners pose an existential threat to humankind. Take Amazon. Although it is based in deep-blue (more like deep-green) Seattle, the massive online retailer rejects Kerry’s claim. In fact, it thinks MORE folks should own air conditioners.
