While speaking at an event hosted by Glamour magazine and Facebook in Philadelphia Tuesday, the 36-year-old doubted the party’s ability to run the country.

“The Republicans know they’re not ready for a debate or conversation about what our most pressing challenges are,” Clinton said. (RELATED: Employees Are Fleeing The Clinton Foundation Because Chelsea Is So Awful, Report Says)

When asked about the comments Ivanka Trump made as she addressed the Republican National Convention last week, Clinton said she wants to ask her how she thinks her father will pay for his big ideas.

“My mom has consistently said how she’s going to do things. And how she’s going to pay for it.”

“I’m just really proud that little girls will be able to redirect their imaginations in other ways because my mother will have broken down this barrier,” she said, “and I hope in November breaks through the hardest, highest glass ceiling in this country.”

“We have to come together and work together. As mom said, ‘We are stronger together.'”

Clinton will introduce her mother Thursday when she officially accepts the nomination. (RELATED: You Too Can Live Like Chelsea Clinton For A Mere $6 Million)
