ESPN pundit Bomani Jones hammered Michael Jordan for refusing to label the police racist after Jordan donated $2 million to heal community relations with police.

The NBA legend wrote a piece for The Player’s Tribune where he lamented the death of police officers and the death of black people as he explained why he was donating so much money to charitable causes. (RELATED: Basketball Legend Michael Jordan Pens Passionate Letter About Race In America)

Jordan’s support for the police instead of condemnation didn’t sit well with Jones.

“There has to be a significant acknowledgement of the fact that we are not here because of racial tension, but because of racism,” Jones stated on ESPN. (RELATED: Clay Travis: ‘Nobody Saves More Lives For Black People Than The Police’ [VIDEO])

He added, “I did not appreciate some of the things he had to say in the process.”
