When last we saw Iain Glen’s Jorah Mormont on HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” Daenerys was ordering him to find a cure to his fatal Greyscale disease. Many thought that would be the last we heard from the fan favorite character. However, an eagle-eyed Twitter user spotted both Glen and Gwendoline Christie, who plays Brienne, on a flight to Belfast, one of the show’s go-to filming locations. So, could Glen’s character be making a comeback in season seven?

It’s possible, especially if you believe this new fan theory that is gaining traction online.

According to this theory, Jorah may be on his way to find Quaithe of the Shadow, a mysterious character fans haven’t seen since season two. For those that don’t remember, Quaithe was the woman in Qarth who helped Jorah and Dany find the stolen dragons. She was most notable for the mask she wore that covered her entire face.

Though her screen time was short, Quaithe proved to have magical abilities such as seeing the future. She even foreshadowed Jorah’s troubles when she said, “This man must sail past Old Valyria. All who travel too close to the Doom must have protection.”

The show has given viewers obvious examples of curing Greyscale, as with Shireen Baratheon. However, the specifics of potential cures are unknown. Perhaps fans will find out next season. It wouldn’t be the first time in the show’s history that a fan theory proved to be accurate.
