Twitter exploded with tweets about “white privilege” after USA swimming star Ryan Lochte got embroiled in a scandal about whether or not he was robbed in Rio.
Lochte claimed that three of his teammates and himself were robbed at gunpoint, but his story has begun to unravel. Some believe that he even openly lied about the robbery claims. (RELATED: American Swimmer Ryan Lochte Admits Parts Of His Robbery Story Aren’t True [VIDEO])
