The man authorities placed in handcuffs at a Florida Publix supermarket was Vladimir Putin—but not Russia’s president. This 48-year old dreadlocked Putin was allegedly screaming at employees and customers when police arrived on the scene.
Store managers attempted to talk Putin into leaving, but he allegedly refused to cooperate. Putin later told West Palm Beach officers that he had missed his ride.
Putin appeared in court Monday facing charges of resisting and obstructing an officer without violence, CBS12 reports.
