Outspoken Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte called U.S. President Barack Obama a “son of a bitch” ahead of their scheduled meeting Tuesday.

Duterte took office in late June and immediately launched a bloody war on drugs, which has claimed more than 2,400 lives in two months. Duterte warned Obama not to mention the killings when the two meet in Laos, or else they will be “wallowing in the mud like pigs.” (RELATED: Philippine President Calls US Ambassador Gay)

“You must be respectful. Do not just throw away questions and statements. Son of a bitch, I will curse you in that forum,” Duterte said at a news conference before flying to Laos to attend a regional summit, according to AFP. “We will be wallowing in the mud like pigs if you do that to me.”

Obama is now considering canceling the meeting as he questions whether he can have “some constructive, productive conversations” with Duterte.

Duterte made it clear that the war will continue until the last drug manufacturer is dead.

“More people will be killed, plenty will be killed until the last pusher is out of the streets. Until the [last] drug manufacturer is killed, we will continue and I will continue,” he said at the press conference Monday.
