Dallas Cowboys star rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott has been cleared in his domestic violence investigation.
The city attorney in Columbus, Ohio claimed the alleged victim’s account was inconsistent and there wasn’t enough evidence to bring forward a case, according to TMZ Sports. (RELATED: NFL Legend: Tony Romo Could Be Out For The Season [VIDEO])
Elliott had been accused by a woman claiming to be his ex-girlfriend of domestic violence on five different occasions. The former Ohio State star claims that he was never dating the woman and that they just had a “sexual relationship,” according to the same TMZ report.
The dynamic running back was the fourth overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft, and is already penciled in as the Cowboys’ starting running back.
