A reporter asked Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton Monday morning if ISIS or possibly Russia could be behind the terror attacks this past weekend because they want to help elect Donald Trump.

“Are you concerned that this weekend’s attacks or potential incidents in the coming weeks might be an attempt by ISIS or ISIS sympathizers, or really any other group, maybe it’s Russian, to influence the presidential race in some way and presumably try to drive votes to Donald Trump,” Bloomberg reporter Jennifer Epstein asked Clinton at a press conference.

Epstein said that Clinton’s had previously said that Trump is somebody those forces would “see as an easier person to be against.”

The Democratic nominee replied, “I don’t want to speculate.”

Clinton did go on to say that Trump’s anti-Muslim rhetoric has been “seized” upon by ISIS. Since the leak of Democratic National Committee emails, the Clinton campaign has been pushing a narrative that the Russian government is actively seeking to get Trump elected. They have even hinted at a sort of partnership between the GOP nominee and Putin.
