So many people are deciding to call 911 to express their anger over the presidential candidates that a Kansas police department had to remind people to only contact them for emergencies.
REMINDER
We realize politics can make emotions run high, but being mad at a presidential candidate in a debate is NOT a reason to call 911.— Lawrence Police (@LawrenceKS_PD) September 26, 2016
The Lawrence police department felt compelled to warn its Twitter followers and the people of its city hours before the first presidential debate Monday between Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump.
The law enforcement agency are apparently worried that the debate event will lead to emergency calls for other reasons.
Additionally, drinking games where you drink every time someone says “yuge” leads to binge drinking, and we discourage that strongly
