Police: Don’t Call 911 To Gripe About Debates

So many people are deciding to call 911 to express their anger over the presidential candidates that a Kansas police department had to remind people to only contact them for emergencies.

The Lawrence police department felt compelled to warn its Twitter followers and the people of its city hours before the first presidential debate Monday between Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump.

The law enforcement agency are apparently worried that the debate event will lead to emergency calls for other reasons.
