Here’s How Often The Debate Moderator Interrupted Trump And Clinton

Fox News host Chris Wallace interrupted Republican nominee Donald Trump 39 times during the final presidential debate Wednesday evening.

The first 20 to 30 minutes of the debate was relatively calm, then Trump began interrupting Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, causing Wallace to try to rein in the Republican nominee.

Wallace also interrupted Clinton 25 times.

Trump also interrupted Clinton 37 times during the debate. The Republican nominee repeatedly interrupted Clinton with “Wrong!” or “that’s not true.” Clinton interrupted Trump nine times during the course of the debate.

Wallace went back and forth several times with the Republican nominee over hard policy issues like immigration and foreign policy. The moderator also pushed back with Clinton on issues like her tax plan, as well as her foreign policy experience during the course of the debate.

Trump interrupted Wallace 25 times during the 90-minute debate.
