Donald Trump has named retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn his National Security Advisor. In this capacity, he will shape military and foreign policy as the Trump Administration reacts to world events as he sees them. That means that if you want to know what to expect from a Trump presidency – at least when it comes to international affairs – you need to know how General Flynn sees the world. Luckily, General Flynn presciently outlined his view of the world for us all in his book, “The Field of Fight: How We Can Win the Global War Against Radical Islam and Its Allies.”

The Daily Dealer wrote about the book when it came out in July, and General Flynn spoke about it with Ginni Thomas last December. There is no doubt that “Field of Fight” is the first place you should look to figure out how the Trump administration is going to play out on a world stage.
