Republican congressmen Steve King and Dana Rohrabacher, both Trump allies, met recently with far-right French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen.
“US Congressmen King & Rohrabacher pay a visit to discuss liberty & shared values w/(next president of France?) Marine Le Pen,” Iowa Rep. King tweeted Monday.

Le Pen, whose platform is stridently anti-immigrant, is in first place in polling for the first-round of the French presidential race, but polling shows her losing in the runoff to Emmanuel Macron, an independent liberal candidate. The first-round of voting is in late April and the runoff is on May 7.
Rep. King, who is also an immigration hawk, has met several times with far-right European political leaders including Austria’s Norbert Hofer, Netherland’s Geert Wilders, and Germany’s Frauke Petry.
