I’m going to be upfront right here: I know absolutely nothing about hover boards. I don’t know what their purpose is or why people purchase them. I don’t know why they are so expensive. I don’t know what one should look into when deciding which hover board to buy.
What I do know, however, is that there is one particular hover board that is over half off today. It still costs nearly $500, so it’s too rich for my blood. But there is no denying that is a better price to pay than a whole grand.
I also know that the type of people who buy hover boards absolutely love this hover board. Ninety-eight percent of customers gave it a perfect 5 out of 5 star rating, which is certainly worth remaking upon.

Just bought this board and it is great. I heard about this board from a friend and looking to get one for the holidays I decided to pick this one up. The price was a little high compared to some of the other boards but from the pictures online and my friends feedback, I decided to spend the extra money on this board. So far I have been so impressed with it and I am definitely happy I spent the extra cash.
What I think is great about this board is its durability. This is not some cheap knock-off board, this thing is SOLID. I mean it can handle going over all sorts of terrain without much of a problem. It has wider footspace which means my big feet can actually fit comfortably and the the board can definitely take a punch after multiple times of me jumping off of it and it screeching to a halt or into a curb. The board just keeps going!
Another reviewer titles her review “Great Board for Family.” What she doesn’t do is explain why your family needs a hover board:
My opinion about this hoverboard is that it is a great device.
-On the side board there is the power button and a slot / space for charging the
board.-On the top of the board there are (3) dots that indicate the charging status of the board.
– To get on the board, start with one foot on the board and stabilize yourself, then hop on with the other foot.
– You can ride forward, backwards, and in circles. I was amazed at how maneuverable the board really was.
-One of the lights on the board will let you know if there is weight directly on the board. Also when you lean to a certain direction there are blinkers on the back that will blink. To turn sides you just lean to one side.
– Board came on time and packaging was awesome. Came in a very nice and strong box which is very safe.
– Gave a very smooth feeling and moves up to 10mph
.- Has Ul2722 Certification which means it wont overheat, short circuit, etc.– Finally, to get off the board you will need to balance and be still while slowly getting off the board.
Lynn says the board is “Great!” But she also is the type of person who lets her six year-old ride a hover board, so I’m not sure if she’s trustworthy:
The board is very good for children, teens and adults. You barely put your foot on it and it is ready to go. While this is great for actually going you do need to be careful not to hurt yourself. It would make a great gift. My 6 y/o and while his grandma held him, tried it, because it did go fast for him. He loved it wants to have his own sports edition. I think once you get the hang of balancing yourself its really easy to use, and getting use to having no handles. Even when using a bike you have to practice safety so make sure to take your time when first starting out, but you will pick up quickly.

I really like going fast, whether its roller coasters, jet skis, bikes, speed is my thing. When I saw this Sports board I thought to myself, “This is PERFECT!”
This board is like nothing I have tried before. When I compare it to other boards, I am blown away. Most of those other boards are really cheap, they are wobbly or they make noise. They don’t have great balance, and the turning is not that great. But this board is way above the rest. It handles really well, I can smoothly adjust my turns to be sharp or not, and the board can definitely handle a lot of the passion I put into riding it.
The board does give out a lot of power. It can accelerate really fast and can get up to a pretty good speed. I definitely am moving when I learn far forward on this thing. The specialized wheels are great for gripping the road a bit better and help if I want to skid pretty fast on the pavement. I think this is a good board for trying tricks if you wanted to.
The board itself is pretty tough, the fins of the board are made of metal and the base is made of a really strong plastic.
There are several lights on the board, headlights, rear brake lights/blinkers, and battery indicator lights on the top of the board as well. I tried it at night and I was able to see the road pretty clearly.
This board is larger than most other boards, so if you’re looking for a smaller board that is easier to carry this may not be for board for you, but this board is definitely the board you’re your going to come back to. The size is due to its strength and durability. This is a machine that will power you anywhere, and if you want something that is going to last, this is it.
I tried this board in the dirt and it had no problems going through the bumps and rocks of nature. I even was lucky enough to try it while it was raining; the board had no problem with the rain and the puddles around the house.
My buddies and I tried all sorts of stunts with it, jumping off curbs, riding it while sitting in chairs, crashing it into walls, the board has been a beast and has held up to the test. Even my little 7 year old brother was moving pretty fast on this board.
It didn’t take too long to learn how to use the board. I figured it out in about 20 mins and was already moving pretty fast, but that maybe because I like motorized vehicles already, but it didn’t seem like it would be a problem for others.
The board charges pretty quickly, in just a few hours, but I let it charge overnight. So far, I haven’t seen any issue with smoking or fire, but it’s only been a few days. So far so good.
This is the board to buy if you’re willing to shell out some extra money for it.
