The White House is expected to name Mike Dubke as communications director on Friday, a new report claims.
According to Fox News, the Crossroads Media founder will fill the role that has been left empty since former Trump transition spokesman Jason Miller stepped down the day before the inauguration, citing family responsibilities. Until now, press secretary Sean Spicer has done both jobs.
Duke currently runs a Republican media firm out of Alexandria, Va.
The news comes just hours after Politico reported that six White House staffers were dismissed after they failed background checks.
