In his Thursday night “Tip of the Day,” Bill O’Reilly of Fox News went after the media outlets that mocked President Trump’s comments about Sweden’s migrant crisis for failing to report on the riots that rocked the Swedish capital only days later.

WATCH:

The president was roundly criticized in the media for pointing to the Scandinavian country’s migrant woes.

Many media outlets suggested Trump was referring to a non-existent terrorist incident the night before, when, in fact, he was speaking about a report by Tucker Carlson and filmmaker David Horowitz on Fox News.

As rioting broke out in primarily Muslim neighborhoods around Stockholm only two nights after the President’s remarks, many saw Trump’s sentiments as vindicated.

According to O’Reilly, however, few in the media availed themselves of the opportunity to retract their criticism of Trump in light of the riots. “ABC News, NBC News, CBS News, MSNBC, CNN, and Colbert all reported the president’s original remarks. None of those agencies, not one, mentioned the riots that happened shortly after his statement,” O’Reilly said.

“So here’s the tip of the day, and you already know it. The American media? Largely dishonest. A shame,” he concluded.
