One wealthy lover of both McDonald’s and condiments paid nearly $15,000 for a 20-year-old package of discontinued Szechuan sauce online.

A used car buyer in the U.K. found two 20-year old packages of Szechuan sauce in one of his newly acquired vehicles and immediately put it up for action in eBay.

“I just bought a really old car, while cleaning it I found a packet of this sauce,” the man told reporters. “After watching the recent episode of Rick and Morty I went online to see if it was worth anything. Turns out it was. Also this comes with a packet of wasabi as well.”

The bidding reportedly started at $10, but an anonymous buyer raised the price 21 times until they scored both packets for the jaw-dropping price of $14,700 on April 11, MarketWatch reports.

McDonald’s launched its signature Szechuan sauce for a limited time following the 1998 release of the Disney movie, “Mulan.” A leaked episode of the season 3 premiere of the Adult Swim network show, “Rick and Morty,” in early-April featured the sweet and sour condiment. Szechuan sauce has been an internet sensation ever since.

Other packets of the acclaimed sauce are floating around eBay, fetching starting bids as high as $105.
