If there is one thing I’ve learned over the years, it is that you want your chef’s knives to be made in Asia. While goods made in Asia get a bad rap, and deservedly so, our friends in the Far East have spent centuries mastering the ergonomic principles of kitchen cutlery.
This Imarku chef’s knife is of particularly good quality, which is why it is a #1 bestseller. It does everything right: It is made from high-quality high-carbon stainless steel. It features an ergonomic pakka handle. Its sharpness was designed via German engineering. In other words, everything you’d want in a $100 chef’s knife, which is what this knife normally costs. Right now, however, it is on sale for under $30.
This multipurpose knife can cut, dice, slice, chop and even cut meat off bones. Its 0.6-0.75 percent carbon makes it two times harder than other knives in its class, and its 16-18 percent chrome gives it a glossy finish that will never fade or tarnish.
This knife has been reviewed over 500 times, and 77 percent of those folks gave it a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. Imarku makes great knives, and we have featured them in the past. That puts our thinking right in line with the top reviewer, B. Anderson, who wrote the review titled “Great purchase. I’ll be looking to expand to others in the line”:
One questioner on the product’s page asked if the knife comes with a sharpener. Someone answered, “No, it does not…but it’s very sharp.” That reminds us of the last time we featured an Imarku knife, when a loyal Daily Dealer reader emailed us a suggestion, as we implore you all to do. He sent us a link to a knife sharpener with the note “I have been using this for several years and it’s easy and makes the knives sharp as can be.” He called it the perfect complement to the Imarku knife we featured. I am inclined to believe him.
