Florida Atlantic University coach Lane Kiffin is either in complete troll mode, or he is legitimately interested in taking the vacant head coaching position at Ole Miss.
An imagine circulated around Twitter Friday of Kiffin’s recent follows on Twitter, and they’re all associated with Ole Miss football. He followed @OleMissFB, @OMRebelNation, @OleMissInk, @OleMissPix and former Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt.
Go look at the four most recent follows of my man @Lane_Kiffin. God, I love him. pic.twitter.com/eCnWjwO88Z

Kiffin, who has held head coaching positions with the Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Volunteers and USC, hasn’t even coached a game yet for FAU, but some are already speculating he’s out the door for Ole Miss.
Wouldn’t it be the most Lane Kiffin thing ever if he left FAU to go to Ole Miss before ever coaching a game?

How many times has #LaneKiffin called the #OleMiss athletic department today? pic.twitter.com/DvsEbvpjdc

If Lane Kiffin somehow became head coach at Ole Miss, he’d never make it through the Grove during the Walk of Champions. pic.twitter.com/os4NA7h7Hm

It won’t be easy to find a great hire for Ole Miss given all the trouble the school is in. However, Kiffin is a big name and would be more than willing to get back to a big school.
Kiffin as a head coach in the SEC after being an assistant at Alabama would be a storyline so great it would be called unrealistic by Hollywood writers. We should all be praying this happens.
