A new trailer for “Call of Duty: WWII” was recently released, and it’s proof World War II games reign supreme.
The new trailer features plenty of violence, as characters are shown running around while firing some of the most famous weapons from WWII.
There’s not a single guy I knew growing up that didn’t ball out playing WWII video games. Nothing was better than blowing away Nazis with an M1 or spraying bullets everywhere with a Thompson submachine gun. “Call of Duty” and “Medal of Honor” owned the market when it came to producing games about the war that ravaged Europe and the South Pacific.
In fact, there was nothing more I wanted in this world as a little kid than an M1 and a 1911 Colt .45, and the only reason why is because they were my two favorite weapons to play with in the game.
I have no idea if I’ll buy this game or not. It’s just great to see companies getting back to the bread and butter of killing fascists and Nazis. It’s what we were raised on, and it’s what we enjoy.
