Even though they landed when it was dark, she shone in the jacket that she paired with a black FLOTUS baseball cap, black pants and white button-up blouse.
She completed the stylish look with her hair in a pony tail, aviator sunglasses and white tennis shoes.
“I want to be able to offer my help and support in the most productive way possible, not through just words, but also action,” the first lady said in a statement following the trip. “What I found to be the most profound during the visit was not only the strength and resilience of the people of Texas, but the compassion and sense of community that has taken over the State. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with the people of Texas and Louisiana.”
“Thank you @GovAbbott @fema @uscoastguard @RedCross & local officials for the briefing today on #HurricaneHarvey. We are with you #Texas,” Trump captioned her post later on Instagram.
