Gwyneth Paltrow stripped down and went topless for the first cover of Goop magazine, with the words “Earth to Gwyneth” written across the semi-nude shot.
“Goop magazine is here. Millions of thanks to the incredible teams @goop and @condenast. On newsstands and also in link,” the 44-year-old actress captioned the stunning picture she posted Friday on Instagram. In the shot, she posed lying on her back covered from her neck to feet in a clay mixture wearing only bikini bottoms for the magazine’s debut. (RELATED: Gwyneth Paltrow Gets Blown Away [PHOTOS])
“I remember standing in a hippie health-food store in Greenwich Village and I saw a little paperback book describing a ‘master cleanse,’ and I was like, What’s that?'” Paltrow wrote in the editor’s letter. “I remember the next day [after I finished the cleanse] I was like, Oh, wow, I just did this cleanse, and I feel so much better. I can have a beer and a cigarette now, right?”
The actress also shares information about everything from how good it feels to run her feet through the grass to her latest scar healing technique called bee venom therapy.
“The doctor stings you [with a live bee] like it’s an acupuncture needle,” Paltrow wrote. “I had it done on my cesarean scar… I had some buckling in the scar, and it really evened it out.”
The first issue hits newsstands September 19th.
