Minutes after President Trump’s United Nations address, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted that he had “never heard a bolder or more courageous speech” in 30 years of UN experience.

Netanyahu also praised Trump’s rhetoric concerning global threats to humanity.

Trump’s UN speech was headlined by a hardline stance on North Korea. He stated that the U.S. would “totally destroy North Korea,” if the rogue nation conducts hostile action toward the United States or its allies.

The authoritarian regime has made numerous recent threats, including testing a ballistic missile that flew directly over neighboring Japan.

Monday, the Israeli prime minister met with Trump ahead of the United Nations General Assembly meeting.

The White House said that the meeting would “reaffirm the unbreakable bond between the United States and Israel,” and that Trump, “underscored the unwavering commitment of the United States to Israel’s security.”
