President Donald Trump rescinded the invitation to visit the White House for the Golden State Warriors early Saturday morning.
Trump publicly took away the invitation when he tweeted, “Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team. Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!”

It is tradition for the winners of every major sports league to pay a visit to the White House, but the Warriors have been outspoken against the president.
Steph Curry and Kevin Durant, the team’s two best players, have both publicly discussed their dislike for Trump.

It’ll be interesting to see if this becomes a popular trend for sports teams as long as Trump is in the White House.
