A humorous exchange occurred Monday after Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders claimed that he was “not talking about socialized medicine,” and Sen. Graham disagreed.

“We’re not talking about socialized medicine,” Sanders said.
Graham said, “Yeah we are. Yeah we are.”
“You don’t [want to] talk about that, but we are,” Graham says.
“We are talking about maintaining–I am talking about maintaining the same system, except you have one payer, that is the federal government. You go to private doctors, you to private hospitals” Sanders said, adding, “So let’s call it what it is, it’s a Canadian system, not a British system, and I know that you know the difference.”
Graham quipped, “Let’s call it socialism.”
Sanders also used the opportunity to bash President Trump for a remark made about Sen. John McCain over two years ago, saying, “it is beyond my imagination,” calling McCain an “American hero.”
“I just don’t understand why you have this President seems to think he can attack people left and right.”
