Twitter users are livid at the New York Times’ Maggie Haberman because she insisted Democrats lied about who was funding the infamous Trump dossier.
The Washington Post revealed Tuesday that the DNC and the Clinton campaign were paying Fusion GPS–who contracted former British agent Christopher Steele–to create the document that accused the Trump campaign of colluding with Russia.
Kenneth Vogel, a reporter for NYT, accused a Clinton campaign lawyer of lying to him about the funding.
When I tried to report this story, Clinton campaign lawyer @marceelias pushed back vigorously, saying “You (or your sources) are wrong.” https://t.co/B5BZwoaNhI

This led Haberman to tweet, “Folks involved in funding this lied about it, and with sanctimony, for a year.”
