MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle and The Root’s Jason Johnson said the GOP’s tax reform plan is made for President Trump and his wealthy friends.

While the tax bill would lower the corporate tax rate and earners in the top individual bracket would get the biggest cut on their taxes, more than 97 million households in the middle class would also receive an average tax cut of $450. In fact, every bracket on average would get a cut under the plan.
However, Ruhle and Johnson chose to focus on the tax plan’s benefits to the wealthy, giving the impression that the GOP bill would exclusively help top earners.
“At the end of the day, this tax bill is written for President Trump,” Ruhle said Friday. “He benefits from this thing left, right, and center.”
“Whether you look at the House bill, the Senate bill, its him and his friends that are going to benefit the most and we still have questions as to whether or not that’s going to help the economy or kill it,” Johnson claimed.
