Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones didn’t seem the least big concerned about getting tossed from the NFL over his feud with Roger Goodell.
Reports broke Monday that owners had a nuclear option to remove Jones from the league if he didn’t stop his attempts to derail Goodell’s massive contract extension.
Jones finds the claims “laughable” that he’s going to be forced to sell his team.
“I’ve had NOT ONE inkling of communication with the league office or any owner that would suggest something that laughable and ridiculous,” Jones said during an interview with 105.3 The Fan.

Is there anybody surprised that Jones isn’t taking these claims seriously? He’s the most powerful man in sports. Of course, he’s not taking any of this garbage as legit. There would be a war fought before he handed over the Cowboys.
I’m glad he’s out there publicly stating it. Makes this whole thing way more entertaining than if he just ignored the reports.
