Lane Kiffin is apparently open to returning to Tennessee if he gets the call, according to ESPN’s Chris Low.
“Lane is definitely on board if Tennessee gives him a call. That’s not going to happen, but as he told me, ‘People break up all the time and get back together,'” Low said during an appearance on Jayson Swain’s radio show.

Kiffin briefly coached the Tennessee Volunteers until he cut and run for USC after only one season. He was fired from that job while the team plane was on the tarmac.
This is obviously never going to happen. He burned way too many bridges when he left for USC, but it’s fun to imagine. I think Kiffin is bound for the SEC, and could be coaching Ole Miss next season. One thing is for sure: there’s next to no chance he’s sticking around at Florida Atlantic for another season.
