A total of 51 players on the University of Central Florida football team have played on both an undefeated team and a winless team during their time with the program, according to Deadspin’s Timothy Burke.
51 kids on that UCF roster have now experienced both a winless and an unbeaten season.

UCF took a nosedive after Blake Bortles left the program and went from winning lots of games to going 0-12 in 2015.
I had no idea coach Scott Frost turned this program around in such little time. Going from 0-12 to 11-0 is no joke, and it defies the odds and logic.
Imagine the type of emotional swing those 51 players must have had over the course of the past couple years. They went from being complete losers on the football field to being undefeated. That doesn’t ever happen, and for good reason.
It takes years to build a successful program, and that’s if everything goes right. Most programs never even get to that point. It’s borderline crazy that dozens of players have experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows during their college career.
