The hosts of “The View” quickly pivoted to blasting President Donald Trump during a panel discussion about Matt Lauer being fired for alleged sexual misconduct.

According to Page Six, Lauer was let go for allegedly sexually assaulting a fellow employee during the Sochi Winter Olympics in 2014. (RELATED: ‘The View’ Pivots To Trump While Discussing Allegations Against Franken [VIDEO])

“I mean this was really hard for me to hear because I grew up on the ‘Today’ show and I worked with Matt for years and years, so I echo many of [Savannah Guthrie’s] sentiments that first and foremost, no one gets a pass,” Sarah Haines shared after playing a clip of the NBC anchor announcing her co-worker’s termination. “This behavior is never okay. I personally had such great experiences with Matt. He was someone that cheerleaded for me and supported me, and I know, as Savannah said, he was extremely beloved there, but I do commend the person with the bravery who comes out about any of this type of behavior.”

“I never worked at NBC,” Meghan McCain explained. “The way Matt Lauer treated Ann Curry, that’s when I was done with him…I’m the biggest fan of Ann Curry period. When she was let go……I thought it was so disrespectful.”

“You know, karma is a bitch,” Joy Behar interjected.

“And, of course, you know, who…,” Goldberg shared

“Who, who..D.T., D.T,” Behar responded without saying Trump’s name.

“That’s giving D.T.’s a bad name,” Goldberg quipped. “[He] tweeted that ‘Now that Matt Lauer’s gone, when will fake news practitioners at NBC be terminating the contract of Phil Griffin? And will they terminate low ratings Joe Scarborough based on the unsolved mystery that took place in Florida years ago? Investigate.'”

“You know he never misses an opportunity to talk about a sexual harasser possibility that’s not named Trump,” Behar shared.

“I was going to point out — I mean, we do this, we talk about him a lot,” Goldberg responded. “But, today I think it is warranted. This is what I will say to you, new guy. It’s all well and good to call folks out. Everybody wants to know who’s out there. Let us not forget that you also have people accusing you.”

McCain then said that there were more important things that Trump should worried about like the threat of North Korea.

“And what is he [Trump] consumed by…Matt Lauer,” Goldberg explained.

“Well, yeah because he’s really a figure-head at this point,” Behar responded. “He’s not dealing with real issues anymore. It just seems just like he’s mad King George in the White House.”
