President Donald Trump received info of great economic growth and spoke on the phone with Chinese President Xi Jinping Wednesday morning.
While this would have been a typical morning for a president, Trump also decided to highlight videos of alleged Muslim violence and imply that MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough killed his staffer.

Spreading unproven information isn’t new to Trump, and Wednesday’s tweets are a continuation of the president’s actions on the campaign trail.
Trump retweeted these three videos from Jayda Fransen, the deputy leader of the fair-right nationalist Britain First.

It is unclear if it is actually a Muslim migrant in the video of a boy in crutches being assaulted. White House press secretary Sarah Sanders told reporters, “Whether it is a real video, the threat is real.”
Trump went on to accuse NBC chairman Andy Lack of wrongdoing after NBC fired Matt Lauer due to sexual harassment allegations.
“But when will the top executives at NBC & Comcast be fired for putting out so much Fake News,” Trump wrote. “Check out Andy Lack’s past!”
This allegation against Lack seemed to center around the idea that he had put out “fake news,” but Trump’s later tweet about Scarborough implied something much more sinister. “And will they terminate low ratings Joe Scarborough based on the ‘unsolved mystery’ that took place in Florida years ago? Investigate!”
This tweet appears to be a clear reference to the 2001 death of Lori Klausutis, who was a staffer in Joe Scarborough’s congressional office.
Klausutis was 28 when she was found dead, and the medical examiner found no signs of foul play.
The St. Petersburg Times reported: “Medical Examiner Dr. Michael Berkland has said Klausutis, 28, of Niceville, lost consciousness because of an abnormal heart rhythm and fell, hitting her head on a desk. The head injury caused the death, Berkland said.”
Her death, however, has followed Scarborough throughout his career. Liberal activist Michael Moore once registered the domain “JoeScarboroughKilledHisIntern.com.”
Former Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris even reportedly told donors that if Scarborough ran in the 2006 Senate race he would have to answer questions about Klausutis’ death.
Scarborough has denied any sort of wrongdoing.
“Looks like I picked a good day to stop responding to Trump’s bizarre tweets. He is not well,” Scarborough tweeted Wednesday.
