The Hill incorrectly identified former Democratic Rep. John Conyers as a Republican for close to two hours in a recent article.
An article about the Michigan Democrat’s latest accuser was published at 10:10 AM on Wednesday morning and claimed in the lead sentence that Conyers is a Republican.
After numerous people pointed out the mistake on Twitter, the article was eventually updated at 11:51 am to say that he is actually a Democrat. That means the incorrect information sat on The Hill’s website for nearly two hours.
