Meghan McCain said Wednesday Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore’s loss meant that Breitbart CEO Steve Bannon was now “neutered.”

“Hey Alabama, thank you…thank you,” Whoopi Goldberg started off the panel discussion on “The View” about Democrat Doug Jones’ win over Moore. She then asked McCain if the loss was more of a “message to the White House” or a message to Bannon. (RELATED: Joy Behar Insists Hillary Clinton Won The Election–Meghan McCain Hits Her With The Truth [VIDEO])

“We have one more Christmas show and I want to get T-shirts made tonite that just say ‘Suck it Bannon’ for all of us to wear on TV,” McCain responded. “Because he [Bannon] espouses himself as the king-maker right now that he got Trump elected into office. I didn’t see this one coming at all. He [Jones] won by a very small margin. A win is a win is a win.”

“But I will say that Bannon is now neutered,” she added. “This shows that he is no longer the king-maker. But saying the White House backed him [Moore] — Trump originally backed Luther Strange who was a much more mainstream Republican candidate. If you go with these populists in this way who have these obviously incendiary backgrounds..to put it as nicely as possible… It shows that there actually is a moral compass and there is a point where voters, even in Alabama, will say no.”

Sunny Hostin then celebrated that she read that 98 percent of black women came out to vote.

“Black women area saving the country yet again,” Joy Behar rejoiced.

“On Twitter it was hilarious,” Sarah Haines interjected. “If you read the hashtag it was black women saying ‘you’re welcome. we saved y’all again.'”
