Rep. Adam Schiff, the House Intelligence Committee’s top Democrat, has spent close to 21 hours on television since President Donald Trump took office.

According to research provided to The Daily Caller by the Republican National Committee, Schiff has been on TV for 20 hours, 44 minutes, and 49 seconds.

Schiff has spent much of his time on TV talking about the investigation into alleged ties between the Trump campaign and Russia, and has been a major proponent of the Russia collusion narrative. However, despite all of that discussion time, Schiff still hasn’t been able to produce a shred of evidence for his claims.

Back in March, for example, Schiff claimed on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that there was “circumstantial evidence” pointing to collusion with the Russians. Yet when TheDC asked him about that “evidence” in July, Schiff chose not to expand on his comments or provide any evidence.  In June, Schiff admitted in an interview with ABC News that he didn’t have any hard proof of Trump-Russia collusion.
“I’m not prepared to say that there’s proof you could take to a jury,” Schiff said about the investigation, which was 11 months old at the time. (RELATED: Adam Schiff Admits There’s No ‘Proof’ Of Trump-Russia Collusion)
A month later, Schiff made a wild speculation about a ‘quid pro quo’ relationship between Donald Trump Jr. and the Russians but provided no evidence to back up his claim. Schiff told an MSNBC reporter that a meeting between Trump Jr. and a Russian lawyer may have had additional favors involved, such as repealing the Magnitsky Act. (RELATED: Rep. Schiff again did not respond to TheDC’s requests for him to elaborate if his comments were informed by his work on the House Intel committee.
President Donald Trump has also caught on to Schiff’s grandstanding on television, tweeting in July that he is “sleazy” after Schiff said on CBS’ “Face the Nation” that special counsel Mueller should look into the Trump Organization.
“Sleazy Adam Schiff, the totally biased Congressman looking into ‘Russia,’ spends all of his time on television pushing the Dem loss excuse!” Trump exclaimed. (RELATED: Trump Blasts ‘Sleazy’ Rep For Pushing Russia Narrative)
