Two mascots got in an intense fight ending in one of the mascots getting lit on fire in Novosibirsk, Russia.
The two mascots — dressed as a coin and pastry chef — fought over what seemed to be a dispute about how close they should be standing while promoting their client. After the coin mascot became annoyed at the other mascot for encroaching upon his turf, he delivered several punches in the other’s face. The two then commenced in a brawl.
After each delivered a round of punches, the fight escalated when the chef lit the coin’s costume on fire. The coin remained unaware of his predicament for some time until he felt the flames’ heat, and performed some semblance of the “stop-drop-and-roll” move to put out the flame. An onlooker gave a helping hand by putting out the flames with a fire extinguisher.

Some people suspect that the fight was staged in order to get publicity for McDonald’s, the location of where the fight broke out, the New York Post reports.
