Liberals are furious that Vanity Fair took a few shots at former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in a new video, and are calling for readers to cancel their subscriptions.
Vanity Fair’s editors posted a video of themselves drinking wine and giving Clinton 6 pieces of advice for 2018. While sipping wine, the editors advise Clinton to steer clear of politics in the new year and completely forget about running again in 2020.
Maybe it’s time for Hillary Clinton to take up a new hobby in 2018 pic.twitter.com/sbE78rA5At

The video sparked immediate backlash on Twitter, even starting a #CancelVanityFair hashtag.
If you subscribe to @VanityFair cancel your subscription. They produced a mean-spirited, sexist revolting video telling Hillary Clinton to go away and take up knitting. It’s ok to be a Dotard if you’re male but not if you’re a woman. #CancelVanityFair #BoycottVanityFair https://t.co/NHbtRTcpta

My stomach churned as I watched that slimy, unappealing video clip. What a slap in the face it is, not just to @HillaryClinton but to educated, hardworking women everywhere. I do not support this. #CancelVanityFair

Former advisor to the 2008 Clinton campaign Peter Daou called the video a “cheap shot” at “one of the most accomplished women in the history of the United States.”
So @VanityFair decided that the best way to end 2017 was to take a repulsive cheap shot at @HillaryClinton, one of the most accomplished women in the history of the United States.
Now #CancelVanityFair is moving.

Thanks @Eviljohna. And thanks to my friends/followers for amplifying your tweet about #CancelVanityFair. Suggesting the first woman to be a major party presidential nominee should take up knitting is a stunning lack of judgment on @VanityFair‘s part. Especially to end 2017. https://t.co/sWhhpLgyss

Not everyone was so upset with the satirical video, some even decided to sign up for a subscription after seeing the tweets about canceling the magazine.
I read like six #CancelVanityFair tweets including a few from @peterdaou and felt compelled to subscribe to @VanityFair immediately pic.twitter.com/rkBTpmXVDn
