I can officially die a happy man because Twitter apparently thinks I’m a leading expert on “Game of Thrones.”
There are many different moments people will remember for the rest of their lives, and today is one of them for me.
I returned from lunch at Culver’s (it was outstanding as always), saw HBO’s statement that HBO wouldn’t be back until 2019, fired off the tweet below, crushed out an article on the subject for the readers and returned to my usual routine.
HBO has announced that the eighth and final season of @GameOfThrones won’t be released until 2019. That’s a very long time for fans to wait.

Shock overtook me when Twitter notified me that I was now included in the biggest story on the internet, and I was simply just thrown in. I was the second person featured in the ‘Game of Thrones’ moment.
This is it for me. I think I’ve officially peaked. Some people want money, some want to be famous, we all want a hot wife and I’ve always wanted to be known as an expert on “Games of Thrones” expert. Today was the day I achieved internet greatness.
What a wild world we’re living in. I woke up today just expecting the usual, and now I’m a noted authority on “Game of Thrones.” I could brag about it, but my humble reputation precedes me. I honestly don’t even know what to say at this point. Perhaps this means I’ll be getting an invitation from HBO to hang out with the cast.
P.S.: Looks like the process of becoming king of the internet is coming along nicely. Props to me.
