It’s no secret that Sarah Sanders has a contentious relationship with many reporters in the White House briefing room.
Sanders regularly criticizes the media’s coverage of the president from the podium and, on occasion, snaps at some reporters pretty savagely. Sanders also shows a playful side, engaging with the media by bringing her son to work or baking them pies.
At Thursday’s White House press briefing, Sanders was given a free shot by reporter Brian Karem, who asked about Trump’s annual physical. In asking the question, Karem said, “I profess my ignorance, but next week …”
Secretary Sanders cut him off, smirking “You said it, not me. If you want to call yourself ignorant, I’m not going to argue.”

Some in the room laughed, as did Karem, saying “I am.”
Sanders went on to answer Karem’s question about Trump’s physical, saying the White House will give a readout of the results of the physical after it is completed.
Karem and Sanders regularly get into heated debates in the press room.
