A passenger on a United Airlines flight from Chicago to Hong Kong forced the plane to undergo an unscheduled landing Thursday in Alaska after he allegedly caused a lot of poop to go to unintended destinations.
The culprit, who is for now spared any identification, reportedly dirtied two onboard bathrooms with fecal matter in many different spots.
The “passenger [was] smearing feces everywhere,” Ted Stevens International Airport Police in the city of Anchorage said, according to local CBS station KTVA.
The man tried to shove the shirt he was once wearing down one of the toilets, authorities said.

No charges have been filed, according to KTVA, but the man was taken for a psychiatric examination at a local hospital. Along with the other passengers, the plane was also victimized, having to be grounded overnight for maintenance purposes.
