It was a wild game for the Oklahoma City Thunder and the LA Clippers last night. Russell Westbrook had his thirteenth triple-double and Paul George racked up 31 points to pull out the win against Los Angeles.
But we’re not here to talk about game stats. We’re here to watch Baker Mayfield get totally alpha-ed by Paul George.

Would you look at that. One minute Paul George is all smiles, dapping up his buddy like he’s on top of the world. The next he’s walking past Baker Mayfield like he’s some know-nothing scrub who overpaid for a courtside seat.
It’s pretty hard not to hop on Baker’s roller coaster. First he thinks he’s winning the Rose Bowl, then he’s losing it in double overtime, then he’s hitting the Clippers game on Tuesday with a hot date, then he’s getting ignored by Paul George. Do you know what that does to a man’s psyche?
Some people would say it humbles him.

To make matters worse/better, George later apologized to Baker for not recognizing him.
@baker_mayfield6 Brodie my fault! Lol didn’t recognize you still my guy
— Paul George (@Yg_Trece) January 5, 2018
Which Baker then retweeted and congratulated him on his win.
All good my dude! Good win!!!!

I’m not an expert on sportsmanship but I do know a thing or two about street cred. And I don’t think retweeting somebody’s apology for not recognizing you is a good way to boost said street cred.
But hey, crazier things have happened. His alleged new girlfriend looks pretty capable of picking up the pieces.
