The text scandal between FBI agent Peter Strzok and his mistress Lisa Page just became more prominent. Recently, the FBI disclosed that Strzok and Page exchanged more than 50,000 text messages, and the Bureau lost more than five months worth of texts between December 14, 2016 and May 17, 2017.

South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy said on Fox News that after reviewing the texts, he and Rep. John Ratcliffe found messages stating that the FBI officials were looking for ways avoid their texts getting captured and secured.
