The Eagles got off to a strong start in the first half to take a 13-9 lead heading into the locker room, but the Patriots did not give in. Despite a late game push by Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski, who combined for two touchdowns, the Eagles were able to hold on and sneak out a win over the defending champions.
The Eagles embraced the identity of being the underdogs early in the playoffs and never let it hold them back. With a second year head coach and a backup quarterback under center, the Philadelphia Eagles are now the Super Bowl LII Champions.
