A Florida boy got stuck in an arcade machine after climbing inside to get a toy, fire department officials said Wednesday.

A boy by the name of Mason decided to take a break from dinner at Beef ‘O’ Brady’s restaurant in Titusville with his family to climb into the “Pinnacle” arcade machine filled with stuffed animals, since he wanted one of the toys, reported the New York Post. Mason was able to sneak through the small door on the machine to snatch a prize.

Luckily, an off-duty lieutenant was on duty and was able to rescue the child by prying the machine open, reported Florida Today.

“Often times we say to ourselves that you never know what the next shift will bring. The unexpected ways we get to help people in their time of need. That’s what draws people to public safety, the unexpected. Well today was no exception,” the Titusville Fire and Emergency Services wrote on their Facebook page.

“We love a happy ending and are glad everything worked out,” they added. Mason managed to take a few plush animals with him after getting rescued.

Following the rescue, Mason went back to eating dinner with his family. The boy has no injuries.
