Fox News correspondent Geraldo Rivera praised President Donald Trump’s progress with North Korea and said a meeting with Kim Jong-un is a win-win for the United States.
“The beauty of this, Major, is that as I understand it North Korea has agreed not to test any nuclear missiles, any intercontinental ballistic missiles during the period of these negotiations,” Rivera said on “Fox & Friends” Friday. “They have also agreed very expressly, that the U.S., South Korean military exercises scheduled for next month can go on as they are scheduled. These are tremendous concessions.”
“It’s almost as if we can’t lose,” Rivera continued. “If they stop testing — If they allow our joint military exercises to continue and the President of the United States actually talks to Kim, I think that only good can come of this. He is the first sitting U.S. president ever to visit North Korea. I think that this is huge.”
