A video — first obtained by TMZ — shows the moments leading up to a naked NFL player going on a rampage, allegedly smashing through numerous windows of a Los Angeles apartment complex.
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Zay Jones was arrested early Tuesday morning following the incident, and has now been charged with felony damage to property. LAPD officer Luis Garcia said when police arrived on scene, they caught the bloodied 22-year-old in the act, “breaking glass doors and windows.”
The video shows Jones’ brother, Vikings wide receiver Cayleb Jones, try to calm him down before things go completely haywire. So far, there has been no indication as to what led to the freak-out.
The Buffalo Bills have released a statement, saying, “We are aware of the incident involving Zay Jones. We are still in the process of gathering more information on the matter. At this point, we will have no further comment.”
His agent has yet to make himself available for comment.
Jones was released from custody Wednesday morning at 4:45 a.m., TMZ reports.
He is due in court April 11.
