SOURCE: Johnny Manziel is expected to be the QB throwing to receivers at University of San Diego’s Pro Day Thursday morning. This figures to be the first time NFL teams have had a chance to see the former first-rounder throw since his days with the Browns.

The event hasn’t gotten underway yet, but picture have already surfaced of Manziel looking like he’s in game shape.
Johnny Manziel will have about 35 throws to wide receivers and tight ends here at University of San Diego pro day. He’s been training with QB guru George Whitefield down here in San Diego. https://t.co/TjK7KMop8k pic.twitter.com/GsY4th1Idg

Now we’re talking! He’s about to play in front of NFL general managers and scouts for the first time in over two years. Once again, we’re clearly headed in the right direction here.
Johnny Football is scheduled to join The Spring League next week, and maybe this move is just a way for him to get some more reps ahead of hitting the field. I’m all about this. I would love to watch him go out there and sling the ball all over the field.
Very few people thought this comeback would go anywhere, but here we are. He’s back on the field in front of NFL people, and that’s a great sign. He just needs to ink a deal, and the comeback will be complete.
